The Performing Arts Center is the performance space of the Los Alamos Little Theatre. Originally an Army cafeteria and later the local rec hall, the center was saved from destruction in 1971 by the Little Theatre. In addition to hosting the theatre company's season from September through May, the center houses the Los Alamos Folk Dancers, dance classes and other community events.
