    The Chimayo Museum

    The Chimayo Museum features an exhibit that showcases historical photographs of Chimayó and the surrounding region. Most photographs are from the late 1800s and early 1900s. Also showcased at the museum are artworks by the Espanola Valley Student Art Show.

    Museum of International Folk Art
    Featuring over 120,000 objects revolving around folk art. The Girard Foundation Collection is located in the museum and includes 106,000 miniature buildings, streets and marketplaces from over 100 different countries. The museum is divided by category and the categories are assigned a wing of the building.

    Old Coal Mine Museum

    This museum features railroad relics and coal mining equipment from its days as a functioning coal mine, which closed in 1959. Records and maps for the mine's operation are also on display. The museum is open daily, year-round.

    Los Alamos Historical Museum

    Admission is free and group tours are available at the Los Alamos Historical Museum. This museum also showcases a collection of geological specimans founded throughout the history of Los Alamos. Visitors also have the opportunity to tour the Ranch School and Manhattan Project.
